The Town of Century is reminding residents to use the correct waste containers for optimal collection. With the new provider, Waste Pro, the town has released a bulk waste collection schedule for the upcoming months.

- Yard waste should be placed in a green cart with a black lid on Tuesdays.
- Household garbage goes into a green cart with a blue lid on Fridays.
Century Town Administrator Dave Murzin emphasized the importance of separating yard waste from household trash, as the former is used for mulch. He warned that if non-vegetative material is found in the yard waste container, the cans will not be emptied.
