That’s right—starting June 27, 2026, United Airlines is launching a game-changing nonstop service from Portland International Jetport to both Los Angeles and San Francisco. And this is the part most people miss: with this addition, Portland will now have nonstop access to all seven of United’s domestic hubs, a feat that’s as impressive as it is convenient.
The new service, operating exclusively on Saturdays, will use a Boeing 737 to whisk travelers from the Pine Tree State to the Golden State in record time. Paul Bradbury, Airport Director, couldn’t contain his enthusiasm: ‘This level of connectivity is truly remarkable, and we’re incredibly grateful for United’s commitment to the Portland market.’ But it doesn’t stop there—United is also expanding its summer 2026 schedule with Saturday flights to Houston and daily services to Chicago, Denver, New York/Newark, and Washington D.C.
